Kim Kosak
General Director, Chevrolet Advertising and Sales Promotions
Kim Kosak joined Chevrolet as general director of advertising and sales promotions in June of 2003. In her new position, Kim will oversee Chevrolet's car and truck divisional advertising. Prior to this position, Kosak served as Cadillac's director of advertising and promotions since February of 1999. Before joining Cadillac, Kim was the marketing manager for Silverado, where she was responsible for leading the critically important marketing launch of the all-new full-size pickup truck.
In 1989, Kosak joined General Motors as a market research analyst. In the following years she served as product line manager for the Chevrolet Malibu and advertising manager for Chevrolet Trucks before moving on to the position of Silverado assistant brand manager.
Kosak attended Wayne State University and earned a bachelor's of science degree and a master's of business administration degree, both in marketing. In addition, she graduated from the Kellogg Executive Development Program at Northwestern University.
